Bringer of the Dawn

Here's some of my photography that I got creative with. Originally I was going to post this with a poem by Emily Dickinson, but then I came up with one of my own and finally decided to use mine instead just to keep it all as "original" as possible... However, I like Dickinson's much better, lol.

Bringer of the Dawn

She pulls back the covers of the night;
Colors pervade and seep through the cracks
Of the darkness that hid you from my sight.
The silence breaks with birds of song,
Your warmth envelops me like the new sun,
Erasing the cold doom of all that was wrong.
Suddenly happiness is something tangible,
And all of nature smiles upon us.
Safely together forever; unerasable...
But of all of this is just a fantastic preamble.
For this is what I dream of all the nights long,
Waiting endlessly in darkness....
For the Bringer of the Dawn.
